This is a really wonderful vintage Edwardian black wool jacket with tassels and beautiful braiding. This outstanding vintage jacket is fully lined in silk and closes with two knitted buttons. There is black velvet trim is on cuffs and lapels.

We love Edwardian clothing, and are always amazed by the craftsmanship and detail. Jean Paul Gaultier, Alexander McQueen and Christian Lacroix were among only a few of the designers inspired by the Edwardian era!

We think the jacket would be amazing to wear with a pair of jeans, or wide leg trousers. There is a simple coordinating long black skirt that goes with the jacket, as it was originally a "walking suit." We will include the skirt if you are interested, it has the same trim in two flap sections near the hemline and it closes with hooks and eyes.
